On the same ground in Sharjah where Sachin Tendulkar had made the world his fan by hitting sixes and fours, now the bat of 13 year old batsman Vaibhav Suryavanshi has also spoken. This Indian opener batted brilliantly in the match against UAE in the Under 19 Asia Cup. Vaibhav Suryavanshi showed his magic as soon as he entered the crease. This left handed batsman hit a six on the very first ball. After seeing this attitude of Vaibhav, UAE bowlers started showing eyes to him but after that this explosive opener again showed the power of his bat and hit 4 sixes in the next 10 balls. Vaibhav Suryavanshi completed his half-century in just 32 balls. This is the first half-century of this batsman in the Under 19 Asia Cup.

Power of Vaibhav Suryavanshi

Vaibhav Suryavanshi got a strike on the second ball of the second over and he hit a six by playing a slog sweep shot on the ball of Ali Asgar. This six was so long that the commentators were surprised. After this, Suryavanshi hit a long six on the third and fifth balls of Ayan Khan. In the fourth over, Vaibhav again played a big shot and hit a six. Even though Vaibhav was 13 years old, he hit all these sixes between 80 to 90 meters which shows his power.

Had failed in the last two matches

This innings was very important for Vaibhav Suryavanshi because he was not able to play freely in the last two matches. Against Pakistan, this player was able to score only one run and against Japan, Vaibhav scored only 23 runs. But seeing the kind of batting this player did against UAE, everyone would have guessed why Rajasthan Royals bought this player at a price of Rs 1.1 crore in the IPL 2025 auction. Looking at the way Vaibhav Suryavanshi is batting, it seems that this player can also open with Yashasvi Jaiswal in IPL 2025.
