Tejashwi Yadav on not sending Indian team to Pakistan for champions trophy 2024 news In Hindi This time the hosting of Champions Trophy 2024 is with Pakistan. However, the stand of the Indian government is clear that it will not send its cricket team to Pakistan. The atmosphere is getting heated with BCCI and PCB facing each other in the Champions Trophy. This is the reason why the schedule of the Champions Trophy has not been revealed yet.
Meanwhile, Rashtriya Janata Dal leader Tejashwi Yadav has targeted the Indian government and said that what is the problem in sending Team India to Pakistan. He says that politics should be kept away from sports.
Tejashwi Yadav said, “Mixing politics with sports is not a good idea. Doesn't everyone participate in the Olympics? Then why can't the Indian team go to Pakistan? If PM Modi goes there to eat biryani, then it is okay to go there, But why is it not good for the Indian cricket team to go there?
It should be noted that the biryan that Tejashwi Yadav is referring to is from the year 2015 when the PM had visited Pakistan.
The Indian team has not toured Pakistan to play cricket since the Mumbai terror attacks in 2008, while the two countries have not played a bilateral series since 2012–2013. Since then, India and Pakistan have faced each other only in ICC tournaments and the Asia Cup. Let us tell you that BCCI Vice President and veteran leader Rajiv Shukla had made it clear that the Board of Control for Cricket in India will completely give priority to the decision of the Government of India for India's foreign tours.
Where will the Champions Trophy be held, when will it start and will the hybrid model be adopted or not? ICC has called a board meeting on November 29 to discuss these issues. It is possible that the schedule of the Champions Trophy can also be decided soon.
