Delhi: Rishabh Pant created history in the IPL 2025 mega auction. Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) included him in their team by making a record-breaking bid of Rs 27 crore. With this bid, Pant has become the most expensive player in IPL history. However, this Rs 27 crore will not completely come into Pant's hands. Due to tax and other deductions, they will get only a part of this amount. Let us know how much amount will reach his account.

deduction due to tax
Tax is imposed on the amount received by the players in the IPL auction. Pant will have to pay more than 30% tax on the basis of salary of Rs 27 crore. This means that Rs 8.1 crore will be deducted as tax. After this deduction, he will get only about Rs 18.9 crore in his hands.
Apart from this, if Pant remains with the Lucknow team for the next three years, he can get a total of Rs 81 crore. But, every year they will have to pay a large part of their earnings in taxes and other charges.
Possibility of captaincy in LSG
Pant made his IPL debut for Delhi Capitals in 2016 and later also took over the captaincy of the team. Now after joining LSG, there is a possibility that he can be made the captain of the team. Pant's IPL record is excellent. So far, he has scored 3284 runs in 111 matches at an average of 35.31, which includes 1 century and 18 half-centuries.
