It is noteworthy that the reason behind this strict action of National Anti-Doping (NADA) is quite shocking. Bajrang had refused to give a dope test during the national team selection trials held in March. In such a situation, it is believed that the career of the 30 year old wrestler is now over. However, due to this ban, he will not be able to give coaching for the next 4 years.

NADA had suspended Bajrang Punia on April 23 for refusing to give dope test. After this, the World Wrestling Association also showed its strict stance against doping by suspending him.
