Once again he was bought by Mumbai Indians at the base price of Rs 30 lakh, however, in the very next match of the auction, something happened to Arjun Tendulkar which he would not have expected at all. Arjun Tendulkar got badly beaten in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy match. While playing for Goa in the match against Andhra Pradesh, Arjun Tendulkar took one wicket but this player gave away 36 runs in 22 balls. In this match, Goa also suffered a big defeat from Andhra.

With this defeat, Goa scored a hat-trick of defeats. Goa had lost the first match to Mumbai. They lost the second match to Services and in the third match they were defeated by Andhra.

Jammu and Kashmir team also made a big record in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy on Wednesday. Jammu and Kashmir defeated Arumachal Pradesh in just 18 balls. Batting first, Arunachal team collapsed for just 32 runs. This is the second lowest score in the history of Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy. In reply, Jammu and Kashmir won the match in just 3 overs. This is the biggest win of this tournament in terms of balls.
