Rajasthan Royals team, which was the first champion in IPL history, has spent a total of Rs 40.70 crore in the mega auction of IPL 2025. Rahul Dravid Rajasthan Royals, under coaching, has placed its bets on some old and some new players. Due to which the franchise now looks much stronger. However, some shortcomings are already visible in the franchise.

Rajasthan Royals team, which has been waiting for the trophy for 16 years, before the mega auction of IPL 2025, has announced the signing of opener Yashasvi Jaiswal, match finisher Shimron Hetmyer, captain and wicketkeeper batsman Sanju Samson and young wicketkeeper batsman Dhruv Jurel, young allrounder Ryan Parag and fast bowler Sandeep Sharma's name is included.

After which the franchise has added only 13 year old Vaibhav Suryavanshi for Rs 1.10 crore. Shubham Dubey, who was a part of the team last season, has also been bought back by the franchise for Rs 80 lakh. Now talking about the spin bowling of Rajasthan Royals, the franchise has also bought Wanindu Hasaranga, Kumar Karthikeya, Mahish Teekshana and Nitish Rana.

Apart from these, the franchise has also bought Tushar Deshpande, Akash Madhwal, Quena Mafaka, Fazalhaq Farooqui and Joffra Archer to support Sandeep Sharma in fast bowling. However, like last season, this time too it has bet on less all-rounder players. Due to which they may have to suffer loss.
