Sunrisers Hyderabad team, which has lifted the trophy once in IPL, is playing all stakes to become champion for the second time. Due to which this franchise has spent a total of Rs 44.80 crore in the mega auction of IPL 2025. Even after this, it was successful in buying only 15 players in the mega auction. The franchise has spent most of the money on star Indian players.
Sunrisers Hyderabad franchise, owned by Kavya Maran, has signed wicketkeeper-batsman Heinrich Klaasen, captain and all-rounder even before the mega auction of IPL 2025. pat cumminsYoung all-rounder Nitish Kumar Reddy, opening batsman Abhishek Sharma and his partner Travis Head were also retained.
After which he also bought wicketkeeper batsman Ishan Kishan in the mega auction by spending Rs 11.25 crore. Apart from Kishan, the franchise has placed bets on many other young players. Talking about the spin attack of Sunrisers Hyderabad, they have bought Adam Zampa, Rahul Chahar and Kamindu Mendis to strengthen it.
If we look at the fast bowling, the team has also spent a huge part of the purse on Mohammed Shami, Ishan Malinga, Simarjeet Singh, Jaydev Unadkat, Harshal Patel and Brayden Carse. The franchise has included Abhinav Manohar as a match finisher. The franchise has also bought Sachin Baby as their backup player.
