Champions Trophy is to be organized in Pakistan next year, regarding which the conflict continues. The Indian government has refused to send Team India to Pakistan citing security threats in Pakistan, but the Pakistani board is not accepting the demand to organize the tournament in a hybrid model. PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi is continuously making tall claims regarding security but now he himself has suddenly given orders to the Pakistani Army to shoot. The reason for which he has given these orders is very shocking, due to which organizing the Champions Trophy in Pakistan may be in trouble.
In fact, at present the internal situation of Pakistan has deteriorated badly. A situation of violence has arisen in Pakistan even before the Champions Trophy to be held after about 3 months. Supporters of his party PTI have taken to the streets demanding the release of former Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan from jail and surrounded the capital Islamabad, after which there was a violent clash between security personnel and workers.

According to reports coming from Pakistan, after the lockdown failed, paramilitary rangers fired tear gas and rubber bullets at the protesters, due to which the situation went out of control. The protesters attacked the security forces directly and in the violence that followed, 4 Pakistani Rangers were killed. Only after this, Mohsin Naqvi issued a warning to the protesters to respond with bullets and while deploying the army, gave orders to shoot at sight. Let us tell you, Mohsin Naqvi is not only the boss of PCB, but is also the Interior Minister of Pakistan.

Apart from this, there is a fierce conflict going on between Shia and Sunni Muslims in Pakistan, in which 150 people have died in the recent past. The Pakistani Army is trying to stop this conflict but it has not been successful here. On top of that, now Imran supporters who have gone out of control in the capital have become the biggest challenge for the army and the government.
The latest situation is troubling not only for the country but for the Pakistan Cricket Board. This has dealt a major blow to its hopes of organizing the Champions Trophy. A big reason for this is that Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium, a venue of the tournament, is just 14-15 kilometers away from the capital Islamabad. In such a situation, if security is not strong in the most important part of the country, the national capital itself, then how will security be guaranteed in Rawalpindi, Karachi or Lahore.
To take a decision on the Champions Trophy, ICC has called a virtual meeting of its board on November 29, in which apart from BCCI and PCB, other board members will also be present. In this meeting, a final decision is to be taken on the schedule of the tournament but at the same time a decision is also to be taken on the hybrid model. Considering the current situation of Pakistan, getting the hybrid model will also be a big achievement for the PCB because at the moment the entire tournament seems to be slipping from its hands.
