He said, “When he was eight and a half years old, he went for the BCCI Bone Test for the first time. He has already played for India Under-19. We are not afraid of anyone. He can go for the test again. “
Suryavanshi, a resident of Samastipur, Bihar, recently scored a century against Australia Under-19 in Chennai. With this, he became the Indian batsman to score the fastest century in the Under-19 Test. In his very first red ball match for India Under-19, the 13-year-old batsman scored a smashing century in 58 balls. In the same year, he became the fourth youngest Indian to make his first-class debut.
In January 2024, he made his Ranji Trophy debut against Mumbai at the age of 12 years and 284 days. At the age of 12, he scored 400 runs in five matches in the Vinoo Mankad Trophy. He could not find a place in the team in the Under-19 World Cup played this year. He has scored only 100 runs in 10 innings of five first-class matches.
