The mega auction of IPL 2025 is over. Many new faces emerged in this auction, one of which was Lal Vaibhav Suryavanshi of Bihar. 13 year old Vaibhav has become the youngest millionaire in IPL history. He has been bought by Rajasthan Royals for Rs 1.10 crore. The interesting thing was that in the auction, the same teams were seen fighting for Vaibhav, who had taken his trial. However, in the end, Rajasthan won the bet to buy him by defeating Delhi Capitals. Now the question is why did BCCI examine the bones of Vaibhav Suryavanshi?
13 year old Vaibhav Suryavanshi is a tall player. Looking at him in such a situation, there is a question regarding his age. This question became deeper in the minds of people when he said in an interview given in the year 2023 that he will turn 14 by 27 September 2023? To remove this confusion regarding age, TV9 Hindi When I talked to his coach Manish Ojha, he told that BCCI has done bone testing on him.
According to Vaibhav Suryavanshi's coach Manish Ojha, BCCI is not concerned with the age of the certificate. She conducts medical tests of the players. By getting his bone tested, he finds out his age and validates it. According to him, when Vaibhav was 9 years old, BCCI had done his bone testing. In bone testing, his age was one year more i.e. closer to 10 years, 2 months or 4 months. He told that the age given by Vaibhav in the interview in the year 2023 would have been given only on the basis of the age of bone testing.
