Punjab Kings bought Maxwell in the auction for Rs 4.20 crore. RCB had the option to include Maxwell again in their team using the RTM card, but the franchise did not show interest in it. In this way, Maxwell once again became a part of his old franchise Punjab Kings for a long time.
