Punjab Kings included England all-rounder Liam Livingston in their squad for Rs 11.50 crore in the mega auction of Indian Premier League 2022. He was a part of this team for the last 3 years, but he could not perform anything special in the last 2 seasons, due to which he was released. Before Punjab, Liam Livingston used to play for Rajasthan Royals. But he could not do much for that team either. But, like last time, he was in great demand in the auction this time too.

Livingston is famous for hitting long sixes and is also adept at off spin as well as leg spin. He has played 39 matches in IPL so far, during which he has scored 939 runs at an average of 28.45, he has scored these runs at a strike rate of 162.45. He has also scored 6 centuries in IPL. Apart from this, Liam Livingston has also taken 11 wickets in IPL.
