Former India National Cricket Team player Robin Uthappa has named five likely most expensive spinners in the IPL 2025 mega auction.

He is expecting to see Yuzvendra Chahal playing for Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) and getting the highest bid among the spinners.

The bidding process is scheduled in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, on November 24 and 25. Ravindra Jadeja, Axar Patel, Ravi Bishnoi, Sunil Narine, Kuldeep Yadav, Rashid Khan, and Varun Chakravarthy have been retained by their franchises.

During a discussion on Star Sports, Uthappa picked Cahal, Wanindu Hasaranga, Adam Zampa, Ravichandran Ashwin, and Sai Kishore.

“Chahal is going back to RCB, and he will get big bucks. He will be the highest-paid spinner in the mega auction. Hasaranga and Adam Zampa will always find a franchise. Ashwin will also get a good amount because of his experience,” he said.

He also spoke about Sai Kishore. “He is underrated but is an insane bowler in the IPL. He has done well and will play for India. He was not used properly by the Gujarat Titans. He will get a good price and more matches at any team that he represents,” he added.

Uthappa further said that Kishore can perform on all wickets.

“I will be happy if he goes to RCB. Even at CSK, Kishore will have a role to play. He can bowl well in any condition. If conditions are tough for bowlers, he will still make scoring tough for the batters.”

Gujarat Titans bought him for INR 3 crore in the IPL 2022 auction, and he went on to take seven wickets in five innings in the previous season earlier this year.
