IPL 2024: Condition of first innings

After losing the toss, Rajasthan batted first and made a big score of 196. Team India’s young batsman Yashasvi Jaiswal, who had failed in the last several matches, gave a better start to his team by scoring 24 runs in 19 balls. On the score of 32, the first blow to the team came in the form of Jaiswal. After that Jos Buttler was out immediately. He could score only 8 runs. After that captain Samson took over the innings, Riyan Parag supported him fully. Samson gave a century partnership with Parag. After Parag was out, Shimron Hetmyer added 13 runs on 5 balls. Rajasthan set a target of 197 runs for Gujarat.

IPL 2024: This is how Gujarat won in the second innings

Chasing the target of 197 runs, Gujarat team had a great start. Openers Sai Sudarshan and Shubman Gill made a partnership of 64 runs for the first wicket. This partnership broke in the ninth over in the form of Sudarshan, when Sudarshan was out LBW on the ball of Kuldeep Sen on a personal score of 35. Gill then took the innings forward but did not get support from the other end. Still Gill stood firm. Rashid Khan emerged as the hero in the last overs. He scored 24 runs in just 11 balls and helped his team win by three wickets.
