According to media reports, Indian Blind Cricket Association (IBCA) General Secretary Shailendra Yadav has said that the Ministry of External Affairs has not given permission to go to Pakistan and has asked to withdraw from the tournament. Yadav also said that he has not yet received the letter from the government not giving official approval because it was told orally.

Blind T20 Cricket World Cup 2024 will be hosted by Pakistan from 23 November to 3 December. This is the fourth edition of this tournament.
