Indian men's cricket team is on Australia tour. Now preparations are also underway for the departure of the women's cricket team. Indian women's cricket team will tour Australia for the ODI series, for which the names of the players have been announced. India's Senior Women's Selection Committee announced the players for the 3-match ODI series. This tour of the Indian women's team will start from December 5.

Shefali Verma out of Team India

For the Australia tour, India has selected almost the same team which was seen playing in the home ODI series against New Zealand. One big change that has been seen has happened in the form of Shefali Verma. This star opener of the Indian women's team has not got a place in the ODI team of Australia tour. The reasons for Shefali's exclusion have not been officially known, but it is believed that her poor performance in the last series could be the reason. Shefali had scored 56 runs in 3 ODIs against New Zealand.

Harleen got a chance after almost a year

Shefali Verma is out of the Australia tour team. But after about a year, Harleen Deol has returned. Harleen played her last ODI for India in December last year against Australia in Mumbai. Harleen, who scored 207 runs in 10 ODIs, can also be seen playing her comeback match against Australia.

Australia tour schedule

The first match of the ODI series between India and Australia will be played on 5 December. Whereas the second ODI will be on 8th December. The third and last match of the series will be played on 11 December. That means the Indian women's cricket team's tour of Australia will be for 6 days.

Where will the matches be played?

The first two matches of the ODI series will be played at the Allan Border Ground in Brisbane. Whereas, the third and last ODI will be played in Perth. That is, the Australian city from where the Indian men's cricket team will start its campaign, the women's cricket team will end its journey in the same city.
