The Indian team has defeated Australia twice in a series at home. Now the players of Team India are dreaming of defeating him for the third time. But before the 5-match Test series starting in Perth from November 22, a major weakness has come to light, which can prevent India from winning the Border-Gavaskar Trophy. We are talking about pace attack. Fast bowlers prove to be the biggest weapon to win in Australia. At present, India's current fast bowlers seem to be the biggest weakness of the team.

Scary truth about fast bowlers

Six fast bowlers have been included in India's squad for the Australia tour for the Border-Gavaskar Trophy. But they look absolutely pale in front of the three main pacers of the opposing team. The figures are testifying to this. Actually, there is a difference of 635 wickets between India's six fast bowlers and Australia's main pace attack. This is the weakness that can stop India from capturing the series.

Jasprit Bumrah (173), Akash Deep (10), Mohammed Siraj (80), Prasidh Krishna (2), Harshit Rana (0) and Nitish Kumar Reddy (0) present in the Indian team together have been able to take only 265 wickets in the Test. Whereas Australia's Pat Cummins (269), Mitchell Starc (358) and Josh Hazlewood (273) have taken a total of 900 wickets in Tests so far.

Lack of experience in pace attack

The biggest reason behind the difference between the wickets in the pace attack of India and Australia is the experience of the players. Two players present in the Indian pace attack have not even made their Test debut yet. Whereas Prasidh Krishna has played only two matches and Akash Deep has played only 5 matches, while Bumrah has bowled in 40 and Siraj has bowled in 31 matches. Both of them are the most experienced fast bowlers of the team.

Siraj has not been in form for the last few matches. On the other hand, Cummins has played 62, Starc 89 and Hazlewood 70 test matches. Looking at India's pace attack, it can be clearly said that Mohammed Shami may be missed in the Perth Test. He is currently India's most experienced fast bowler. He has taken a total of 229 wickets in 64 test matches.
