Ali Khan Shortlist IPL 2025 Mega Auction: The IPL 2025 mega auction is scheduled to take place on November 24 and 25 in Jeddah. After the retention list was announced, 1574 players from across the world had registered for the mega auction. But the Governing Council of IPL has thrown 1000 of these players out of the race. Now only a maximum of 574 players can be bid in the mega auction. The name of Pakistan-born fast bowler Ali Khan is also included in this.

In 2020, Kolkata Knight Riders bought this 33-year-old bowler for Rs 20 lakh, but he did not get to play any match during the season. Ali Khan is part of the KKR franchise team in the ILT20 league. Ali Khan has played 82 matches so far in his T20 career and has been successful in taking 82 wickets. During this period he has taken 4 wicket hauls twice.

366 Indians and 208 foreigners have been shortlisted for the mega auction, which includes three players from Associate Nations. The names of Ali Khan's remaining two players are Unmukt Chand and Brandon McMullen. Unmukt Chand has been the captain of India's Under-19 team and under his captaincy the team was successful in winning the World Cup in 2012.

But now after retiring from Indian cricket, Unmukt Chand is trying to get a place in the USA national team. He has played for three teams in IPL so far. Unmukt was last seen playing for Mumbai Indians in 2016 in IPL.
