Mitchell Marsh has said that he will shoulder charge Virat Kohli when the batter reaches 30 in his innings during the upcoming Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2024. Marsh and other Australian batters know about Kohli’s possible threat, as he was sensational in Australia during previous matches.
He has scored just over 2000 runs from 25 red-ball games at an average of 47.48. Kohli has hit 8 hundreds against Australia, with six coming away from home.
“I am goimng to shoulder cbarge Virat to take hin down when he reaches 30,” Mitchell Marsh was quoted as saying by Fox Sports.
Australia pacer Mitchell Starc said that he doesn’t have any plans to sledge Virat Kohli and would let the ball do all the talking.
“I have played with him in the IPL so I am aware the kind of person he is off the field. We don’t target each other despite over on-field rivalry. I want to enjoy cricket and the contrest with him. He is not someone I will try to rile up. It is important to let the cricket do the talking,” Starc told Fox Sports.
India will play a five-Test series against Australia. The last time India played five games in Australia, they lost 0-4.
