Lucknow: The new captain of Gujarat Titans (GT) Shubman Gill keeps making some records in his name every day. During IPL 2023, he had scored more than 800 runs and also won the Orange Cap. However, as per last season, this time he did not start and he was seen struggling in the initial matches but he announced his return to form by playing a half-century against Punjab Kings. After this, now he has made a big record in his name during the match being played against Rajasthan Royals at Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur and he has left even the legendary batsman Virat Kohli last.
Actually, Gill has now completed 3000 runs in IPL and with this he has become the youngest player to achieve this feat. Gill has made this big record in his name in 24 years and 215 days, while he has left Virat behind in this matter. Kohli scored his 3000 runs in IPL at the age of 26 years and 186 days. Apart from this, the right-handed batsman has made another big record in his name.

The 24-year-old has reached fourth place in terms of completing 3000 runs in the fewest innings. At the top of this list is former veteran player Chris Gayle, who achieved this feat in 75 innings. So at the second place is Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) captain KL Rahul, who completed his 3000 runs in IPL in 80 innings. Rajasthan's opening batsman Jos Buttler remains at the third position in this matter with 85 innings. Now Gill's name has also been added to this list and he has achieved this feat in 94 innings. If we talk about Kohli in this list, he had achieved this feat in 110 innings and now Gill has gone above him.

The right-handed batsman has played a total of 97 matches in the IPL so far, scoring 3000 runs in 94 innings with an average of more than 38. During this period, he has scored 3 centuries and 19 half-centuries. So his best score has been 129 runs. Apart from this, the 24-year-old has also completed 4000 runs in his T-20 cricket.
