Lucknow: Indian team's star batsman Suryakumar Yadav was away from cricket for a few months due to injury and has now returned to the field after becoming fit. Let us tell you that Yadav was troubled due to injury and had undergone sports hernia surgery, due to which he could not play in the first three matches of IPL 2024. However, he made a comeback in the match against Delhi Capitals (DC) but it was disappointing for him as Yadav was out for zero after playing two balls.

The right-handed batsman had gone on a tour of South Africa in December last year, where he was seen captaining India in the T20I series. He suffered an injury in the last match of this series and since then he was away from the cricket field and has now returned. However, during the injury period he did something which he had never done before. Surya has given a big statement during the conversation with IPL.

He said, “When I was going through the injury period, I started sleeping and eating on time. Apart from this, I started paying attention to other such small tasks. I have never read any book in my life but during this time I also did this. I used to wake up in the morning and spend quality time calming my body and mind, this helped me recover from the injury faster. I had two to three swallows at the same time, due to which I had to think carefully before moving forward.”

Let us tell you that the 33-year-old can play an important role for India in the T20 World Cup and in such a situation, his recovery before the World Cup is also a good news for Team India. Now all eyes are on him because after being out for zero in the first match, the fans and Mumbai Indians would also like him to regain his old rhythm as soon as possible. Now MI has to play its next match against Royal Challengers Bangalore on Wednesday.
