IPL Auction 2025 News In Hindi: The Indian Premier League (IPL) on Friday announced the list of players for the mega auction to be held in Jeddah on November 24 and 25. As per the list announced by the IPL body, 574 players will be auctioned. The body also confirmed that the auction will start at 1pm IST.

Meanwhile, the IPL body has introduced two new reserve prices that were not present in the previous auction in 2024. It has added a reserve price of Rs 1.25 crore and also increased the base price of the lowest slab from Rs 20 lakh to Rs 30 lakh. The reserve price of Rs 1.25 crore was not present in the last mini auction, while the base price of the lowest slab last time was Rs 20 lakh.

The 12 marquee players have been placed in two sets. Seven of them – Shreyas Iyer, Rishabh Pant, Arshdeep Singh, Yuzvendra Chahal, KL Rahul, Mohammed Siraj and Mohammed Shami – are Indians. Jos Buttler, Kagiso Rabada, Mitchell Marsh, Liam Livingstone and David Miller are the five overseas players in two marquee sets who will be the first to hit the auction table.

The IPL organization also confirmed the timing of the auction. “There will be 204 slots vacant, of which 70 slots will be available for overseas players. Rs 2 crore is the highest reserve price, with 81 players looking to feature in the highest bracket,” the governing body said. The two-day mega auction will be held on Sunday, November 24, “Starts on 2024 at 13:00 PM.”

The first set of batsmen includes players like Harry Brook, Devon Conway, Rahul Tripathi and David Warner. The starting set of all-rounders includes players like Ravichandran Ashwin, Venkatesh Iyer, Mitchell Marsh and Glenn Maxwell.
