Shubman Gill has won the toss and elected to bowl first against Rajasthan Royals in the Indian Premier League 2024. “The weather has been around, and if the rain returns, chasing would become easy. We have been hampered by injuries, making things difficult for us. My role as a batter is easier than leading the side, as I have to just concentrate on my batting when I am at the crease. I have to execute my plans individually,” Shubman Gill said.
Sanju Samson would have bowled first as well. “We would have bowled first well, but that’s not the concern. We are ready to bat as the toss is not in our hands. Leading a side for the 50th time is an honor for me. We are looking forward to the game,” Sanju Samson said.
