Another big uproar has arisen before the ICC Champions Trophy 2025. Actually, the International Cricket Council has sent the ICC Champions Trophy from Dubai to Islamabad. Now Pakistan Cricket Board is ready for this trophy tour. That means this trophy will be taken among the fans at different places in Pakistan. The Champions Trophy tour has also been announced. Meanwhile, ICC has given a big blow to Pakistan Cricket Board. This means that Pakistan may have to make changes in the schedule prepared for the trophy tour.
According to Pakistan Cricket Board, the Champions Trophy has reached Islamabad on 14 November. Now from November 16 to November 24, the trophy will be taken to different places in Pakistan among the fans. As per the schedule, the trophy will go to places like Skardu, Murree, Hunza and Muzaffarabad. Of these, Skardu, Hunza and Muzaffarabad fall in PoK (Pakistan Occupied Kashmir). But ICC has given a big blow to Pakistan Cricket Board. In fact, the ICC has refused to allow the PCB to take the Champions Trophy tour to any disputed PoK (Pakistan Occupied Kashmir).
Let us tell you, Pakistan Cricket Board had announced on 14th November itself, 'Get ready, Pakistan. The ICC Champions Trophy 2025 trophy tour will begin on November 16 in Islamabad, which will also visit tourist destinations like Skardu, Murree, Hunza and Muzaffarabad. Have a glimpse of the trophy lifted by Sarfaraz Ahmed in 2017 at the Oval from 16-24 November.
Champions Trophy is to start from 19th February. But due to Team India's refusal to go to Pakistan and Pakistan not being ready for the hybrid model in response, the announcement of the schedule is getting delayed. In such a situation, this is going to be the first time in the history of ICC, when there will be a trophy tour without any official tournament schedule. Usually the tournament schedule is announced at least 100 days in advance, only after that the trophy tour starts. But this time something different is being seen.
