New Delhi: India's premium pacer Mohammed Shami is back in action after 360 days and picked up 4 wickets in the Ranji Trophy match between Bengal and Madhya Pradesh at the Holkar Stadium in Indore on Thursday.
  Shami went wicket-less on the first day but took four wickets on Day 2 to help Bengal secure a 61-run lead in the first innings. He dismissed MP skipper Shubham Sharma on eight runs before returning to wipe off the lower order. He removed all-rounder Saransh Jain before dismissing Kumar Kartikeya and Khulwant Khejroliya off consecutive deliveries in his next over. After taking 4 wickets, Shami posted a video social media platform Instagram and wrote that this is just the start and let's make this season unforgettable. The star Indian pacer is playing his first Ranji Trophy match for Bengal since 2018. 'Finally The wait is over! After 360 days , I'm back on field , stronger and hungrier. 4 wickets for Bengal in Ranji and this is just the start. Every delivery, every wicket is dedicated to YOU, my incredible fans.
