Punjab Kings (PBKS) player Shashank Singh is still upset about their close loss against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) in the ongoing IPL 2024 on Tuesday, April 8th. Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) won a close match against Punjab Kings (PBKS) by just two runs at the Maharaja Yadavindra Singh International Cricket Stadium in Mullanpur. Despite Shashank Singh's excellent batting for PBKS, they couldn't pull off a win.

Coming out to bat at number 6, Shashank Singh played an impressive knock of 46 and remained unbeaten. He smashed six fours and a six during his stellar innings. However, his efforts went in vain as Punjab Kings (PBKS) was defeated by Sunrisers Hyderabad. Apart from Shashank, Sam Curran scored 29 runs, Sikandar Raza got 28, and Ashutosh Sharma made an unbeaten 33 runs. But despite their contributions, PBKS couldn't win. SRH won by just two runs. Nitish Kumar Reddy was the standout performer for SRH, both with bat and ball. A video that has gone viral on social media shows PBKS batter Shashank Singh visibly disheartened after failing to secure a win for his team against SRH. In the clip, Singh appears deeply disappointed while attempting a shot.
