There is a tussle between Pakistan and ICC on hosting the Champions Trophy 2025. The issue is India which has clearly refused to send its team there. Meanwhile, PCB has also threatened the ICC that it will not organize a hybrid tournament under any circumstances, now former Pakistan cricketer and former captain Rashid Latif has given such advice to the ICC which may leave you shocked. Rashid Latif said that ICC should ban both India and Pakistan. Both should not get hosting of ICC tournament.
Rashid Latif told PTI, 'There are high chances that Pakistan may not play cricket against India at all. If I had been in power, I would have taken necessary action. I will not hold anyone responsible for this, if India did not want to play then they did not play. I would also have taken the decision that we will not play against India. After this Rashid Latif gave amazing advice to ICC. Rashid said that ICC should not give hosting of any tournament to both India and Pakistan. ICC should adopt this policy until the relations between the two countries improve.

Rashid Latif further said, 'ICC had banned Sri Lanka in the year 2023 and Zimbabwe in 2019. Both of them had political interference in the cricket association, after which ICC took this step. But why India and Pakistan are not being banned? Because ICC gets maximum money from India and Pakistan. This time it is BCCI's fault because the reason they have given for not coming to Pakistan is very weak. BCCI should have given in writing that India has security fears in Pakistan. ICC's security team had come to Pakistan and they had declared this country safe, if BCCI was afraid of anything then ICC should have informed it first.
