Pakistani team can take a big decision on ICC Champions Trophy. According to media reports, Pakistan Cricket Board has written a letter to ICC and directly threatened it. Pakistan Cricket Board has asked ICC why the Indian team does not want to come to Pakistan. Also, the Pakistan Board has said that if the hosting of the tournament is taken away from it then it will boycott the Champions Trophy. PCB has told this to ICC after consulting the Government of Pakistan.

Tournament can be held in South Africa

If media reports are to be believed, ICC can organize the Champions Trophy in South Africa. Pakistan Cricket Board wants the Indian team to come to their country for the Champions Trophy but BCCI has clearly refused this. BCCI wants India's matches to be held outside Pakistan in Dubai. But Pakistan is not at all ready for the hybrid model. Last year's Asia Cup was also hosted by Pakistan and at that time also Team India refused to go there and after that the matches of the Indian team were organized in Dubai. Due to which Pakistan suffered loss. Now Pakistan does not want to let such a situation happen but it may have to bow before the power of BCCI and ICC.

Champions Trophy will be held without Team India?

Pakistan Cricket Board is also trying to ensure that if India does not want to come to Pakistan for the Champions Trophy, then Sri Lanka should be given a chance instead. But ICC would never want this because it gets more money from the matches of the Indian cricket team, especially the India-Pakistan match which brings huge benefits to the ICC. By the way, Pakistan Board has also threatened that if India refuses to come to Pakistan then it will not play any match with India. Now it remains to be seen what decision the ICC takes.
