Chetan Sharma is confident of India’s win in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy against Australia. Team India will play five Tests, with the first contest starting on November 22 in Perth.

India recently lost to North Zealand 0-3 in the Test series. However, the sub-continent nation has won the last four Test series against Australia, with two Down Under. Speaking to TOI, former India pacer Chetan Sharma said that the results between the two sides will put Australia under pressure.

“I give a guarantee that India will beat Australia. We will register a hat-trick of series wins in Australia. We are undefeated since the last two series in Australia. Pressure is on Pat Cummins and not on Rohit Sharma,” he said.

“We have enjoyed playing in Australia, England and South Africa. We now enter as favorites in the overseas series. When Australia players are talking about the series, understand the amount of pressure they are in at the moment,” he added.

Chetan also supports Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma, who had an ordinary test series against New Zealand.

“Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma are never out of form. Just wait and watch what Rohit and Virat will do in Australia,” he concluded.

India needs to beat Australia 4-0 to qualify for the WTC final.
