Delhi: Veteran opener Rohit Sharma has completed 13 years playing for Mumbai Indians (MI) today. The former captain has been serving MI since 10 April 2011. He is one of the most successful captains in IPL history.

Mumbai Indians shared the post on X and wrote, “Rohit Sharma joined the Mumbai Indians team about 13 years ago and since then he has been an integral part of the team.”
The right-handed batsman has led the blue jersey team to the IPL title 5 times under his captaincy. However, this year he was removed from his post and star all-rounder Hardik Pandya was given the captaincy of the MI team.
