IND vs AUS: Rohit Sharma is not going to Australia, Team India's problems doubled!

Team India is leaving for the Test series against Australia but the biggest question still remains whether captain Rohit Sharma will go with the team? It has been coming to light for several days that the captain may stay out of the first Test match on the Australia tour due to personal reasons, but no official announcement regarding this has been made yet. Now news is coming that Captain Rohit is not going to Australia with the team. A report has claimed that Rohit will not be in any batch leaving for Australia on 10th and 11th November. Even Rohit can miss not just 1 but 2 matches.

Australia is not going with Team India

Indian captain Rohit Sharma is going to become a father for the second time and due to this, there were already speculations about his not being available at the beginning of this tour. Even Rohit himself had responded about this after Team India's defeat in the Mumbai Test against New Zealand. Then Rohit had said that he himself did not know whether he would go to Australia with the team or not. However, the possibility was being expressed from the beginning that he might sit out of the first Test match starting from 22nd November in Perth.

Now a report by RevSportz has claimed that the Indian captain is not going to Australia with Team India at present. This report has come after the claim in which it was said that Rohit had talked to BCCI and said that he was available to go to Australia with the team. This report came at a time when BCCI officials had discussed with captain Rohit, coach Gautam Gambhir and chief selector Ajit Agarkar about the defeat of the New Zealand series and preparations for the Australia tour.

Will be out from not just 1 but 2 matches!

It is even being claimed that Rohit may sit out not only the Perth Test but also the second Test match starting in Adelaide from 6th December. This means that Team India may have to take the field without its captain at the beginning of the series. In such a situation, his path will become more difficult than before, because the batting of the Indian team was already not in form, which included captain Rohit himself. In such a situation, now he will have to decide on the opening batsman, which is proving to be a difficult task at the moment because two options in the form of KL Rahul and Abhimanyu Easwaran had failed miserably while playing for India A.
