It was a fantastic start for Rizwan as the new skipper of the team as he made an immediate impact after being names as the leader of the outfit. Under his leadership, the Pakistan cricket team won an ODI series in Australia after 22 long years. Rizwan played a crucial role in getting his team to the meagre 141 run target. He was decent with the bat as he played some crisp shots during his unbeaten 30-run knock. However, it all came amidst a hilarious moment with Australia stand-in skipper Josh Inglis, who made a cheeky gesture of stumping Rizwan out during the chase. Rizwan was batting against Adam Zampa and Rizwan attempted to play a drive but handed the ball straight to the bowler. In the follow-through, after he completed the shot, he slipped on the crease and it was all Inglis' antics after that.
