Schedule not confirmed, still in discussions: ICC Sources With the ICC keeping November 11 as a crucial day, marking 100 days until the Champions Trophy begins, these plans have been put on hold as of now due to uncertainty surrounding India's participation in the tournament in Pakistan. Moreover, an ICC source close to these developments informed that the 'schedule is not confirmed and is still in discussion.' 'The schedule is not confirmed, we are still in discussions with the host and participating nations on the Champions Trophy schedule. Once confirmed we will announce through our normal channels,' the source informed, as quoted by Cricbuzz.  

  However, the ICC hasn't officially communicated on the cancellation, but sources indicate that the repeated inquiries to the ICC about the cancellation went unanswered and India's reluctance to play in Pakistan is the main concern at the moment. Moreover, several reports have also added that severe smog conditions in Lahore could also be a contributing factor. ICC Champions Trophy 2025 to be played from February 19 till March 9 According to the tentative schedule proposed by the PCB, the tournament is set to be played between February 19 and March 9 across three cities in Lahore, Rawalpindi and Karachi. Moreover, the PCB has kept the India games in Lahore with the semifinal and the final also set to be played in Lahore if India qualifies. Although, continuous reports around India's denial to travel to Pakistan has led to talks around the tournament moving into a hybrid model with UAE being the front-runner. However, on Friday, November 8, PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi denied reports of the tournament being hosted in a hybrid model as he said, 'Till today, we have not spoken about any hybrid model, but we're ready to speak on this.' He further added that the PCB and the ICC are still awaiting of an official confirmation from the BCCI or the Indian government on this matter.
