A 3-match ODI series is being played between Afghanistan and Bangladesh in UAE. The second match of this series was played in Sharjah on Saturday 9 November. During this time, Afghan batsman Gulbadin Naib did such a thing that any cricket fan would say, 'Who does such stupidity?'. Rehmat Shah had to suffer the punishment for one of his mistakes. Rahmat, who had set the sights after scoring 52 runs in 76 balls, was run out due to a bad call and Bangladesh came back and won the match.
Afghanistan batsman Gulbadin Naib made such a mistake in the 30th inning that no one would believe. He came to bat in the same over and played two dot balls. In an attempt to open his account, he ran out his teammate Hashmat Shah on the 5th ball of the over. He called for runs by playing the ball towards mid-off. But as soon as Hashmat ran towards him, Gulbadin returned to his crease from half the pitch. Not only this, he dived to save his wicket. He survived but Hashmat, who had scored fifty, was out.

Batting first, Bangladesh team had set a target of 253 runs. Afghanistan came out to chase it and made 112 at the loss of 2 wickets in 28 overs. By this time the match seemed to be in Afghanistan's hands. Hashmat Shah was at the crease after scoring 46 runs. At the other end, captain Hashmatullah Shahidi was batting after scoring 17 runs. But Shahidi became the victim of Mustafizur Rahman on the last ball of the 29th over.
The entire fate of the match changed in the 30th over. Azmatullah Omarzai was out on the second ball of this over without opening his account. On the fifth ball, Gulbadin ran out Rahmat Shah who had scored 51 runs. Afghanistan lost 3 wickets in scoring 7 runs and the score became 119 runs with the loss of 5 wickets. Bangladesh took control of the match from here. In the next 14 overs, i.e. till the 44th over, the entire Afghanistan team was all out for just 184 and Bangladesh won the match by 68 runs and leveled the series at 1-1.
