He has 457 wickets in his name in first class cricket, out of which he has taken 400 wickets in Ranji Trophy. However, despite such excellent performance, this player neither got a place in Team India nor did he get that respect in IPL. Jalaj has played only one IPL match so far. This opportunity was given to him by Punjab Kings in 2021. However, he could not play any match after just one match.

Jalaj Saxena has achieved the feat of taking five wicket haul in Ranji Trophy match for the 29th time. So far he has taken five wickets in an innings against 18 different teams.
