WTC Final: The cycle of the World Test Championship 2023-2025 (WTC Final) is going to end in some time and some of the teams are out of the race for the final while some teams are still in the race to reach the final.

At present, only 5 teams are left in the race for the World Test Championship final while 4 teams have already been eliminated, if they win the match then they can only spoil the equation of other teams.

Australia is on top of the WTC points table

If we talk about the points table of WTC, then Australia is currently in first place with 62.500 percent. While they still have to play 7 more matches, out of which 5 matches are at home while 2 matches are against Sri Lanka in Sri Lanka.

They have to win only 4 matches to make it to the WTC Final. While Team India is at number two with 58.330. However, now the path to the final has become very difficult for Team India.

Team India has to play 5 matches of Border Gavaskar Trophy against Australia, out of which they have to win 4 matches, only then Team India can qualify for the final. However, this is not going to be so easy for India because they have to play this match against Australia in Australia. Whereas in the points table, Sri Lankan team is at number three with 55.560.

Sri Lanka still has to play two Tests with South Africa in Africa while two matches with Australia at home. Sri Lanka will have to win 3 matches if they want to go to the final. New Zealand is at number 4 with 54.550. New Zealand still has to play 3 matches with England at home and only if they win all three matches then they can make it to the finals.

South Africa's golden chance to reach the final

South African team is at number 5 with 54.170. Although Africa may be at number 5 right now, they have the highest chances of going to the final because they have to play 4 matches at home, out of which two matches are to be played against Pakistan and two matches are to be played against Sri Lanka. Out of which they have to win 3 matches.
