Pakistan cricket team is all set to start its Australia tour. Under the captaincy of Mohammad Rizwan, the Pakistani team will play a series of three ODIs and three T20 matches on this tour and the first ODI will be played tomorrow i.e. Monday (November 4) in Melbourne. After Australia, Pakistani team has also announced its playing eleven for this match.
For Pakistan, Babar Azam, Shaheen Shah Afridi and Naseem Shah have returned in this match, which has strengthened the Pakistan team for the first match of the series. Wicketkeeper batsman Mohammad Rizwan will lead the team, while Agha Salman will be the vice-captain. Along with this, two young players Sam Ayub and Mohammad Irfan Khan are also ready to make their debut.
Recently, Pakistan Cricket Board had appointed Mohammad Rizwan as the captain of ODI and T-20 formats and this is going to be the first litmus test for him. Whereas, against England test series Kamran Ghulam, who made a brilliant debut in 2017, has also been included in the team for the first ODI and Pakistani fans will once again have an eye on him.
The Pakistani XI selected for the first ODI against Australia is as follows.
Mohammad Rizwan (captain), Abdullah Shafiq, Sam Ayub, Babar Azam, Kamran Ghulam, Aga Salman (vice-captain), Mohammad Irfan Khan, Shaheen Shah Afridi, Naseem Shah, Haris Rauf and Mohammad Hasnain.
