Naqvi made committed to the priority visa issuance during a meeting with a group of Sikh pilgrims visiting from the United States. He expressed optimism about a strong turnout from Indian fans for the tournament.
"We will maintain a special quota of tickets for Indian fans, and we aim to ensure a fast visa issuance process," Naqvi stated, as reported by a local newspaper.
He stressed that the PCB is ready to welcome Indian fans to Pakistan, particularly to watch the highly anticipated match between India and Pakistan in Lahore.
The ICC Champions Trophy 2025 is scheduled to take place in Pakistan from February 19 to March 9, 2025. This tournament will showcase top eight One Day International (ODI) teams, including Pakistan, Australia, India, New Zealand, Bangladesh, South Africa, Afghanistan, and England.
