Ravindra Jadeja and Ravichandran Ashwin retained their places in first and second place respectively, continuing the country's domination in Test All-Rounder rankings. In the second Test match between India and New Zealand, Jadeja scored 38 and 42 runs as well as taking three wickets. Ravichandran Ashwin also managed to maintain his second place in the rankings despite disappointing with the bat. However, his bowling figures of 3/64 and 2/97 in the IND vs NZ second Test saved him from a drop.

 However, both Jadeja and Ashwin have lost rating points from last week, and if they do not improve their performances, Bangladesh's Mehidy Hasan or West Indian Jason Holder may very well overtake them to the top spots.

Axar Patel rounded off the top 10 for India, maintaining his place in seventh position despite not playing in the India vs New Zealand Test series. Kuldeep Yadav and Jasprit Bumrah suffered big drops in rankings. Kuldeep, who did not play in the second Test match due to an injury issue, dropped three spots to the 39th position. Meanwhile, Bumrah drew a blank with both bat and ball in the second Test match, and fell four places to the 41st position, going below 40th-place Shardul Thakur.

 Akash Deep had an unproductive outing in the second Test against the Kiwis, failing to take any wickets and scoring just seven runs over two innings. As a result, he was the biggest loser in the latest rankings, dropping 16 spots to the 96th position.
