The playful gesture by Jadeja took place in the 17th over of CSK’s innings, sparking a buzz among the spectators and ignited excitement in the stadium.

Dhoni walked into the crease after the dismissal of impact player Shivam Dubeywho scored 28 runs off just 18 balls. Dhoni and skipper Ruturaj Gaikwad guided CSK to victory with both remaining unbeaten on 67 and 1, respectively.

“Dhoni bhai instructed Jaddu bhai”: Tushar Deshpande

After CSK’s comprehensive 7-wicket win over KKR, fast bowler Tushar Deshpande threw light on the entire episode.

“Dhoni bhai instructed Jaddu bhai,’ I will go for batting but you just act like you are going.’” I overheard that in the changing room,” Deshpande stated in his post-match interaction with Jadeja.

Responding to Deshpande, Jadeja said: “He just showed a glimpse of himself out in the middle and fans got their money’s worth.”
