Sources close to the development have said that Patel will join the support staff led by former Indian cricketer Ashish Nehra. Gary Kirsten was associated with this team since IPL 2022. During this period, Gujarat team also won the title in the year 2022. But this year he joined hands with the Pakistan team.

Parthiv Patel's special connection with Gujarat

Parthiv Patel also has a special connection with Gujarat. In fact, he has represented Gujarat in domestic cricket during his sporting career. During this time, he gave the state team its first title by defeating Mumbai in the Ranji Trophy final in the 2016-17 season. At the same time, Parthiv Patel has played in all three formats for Team India. Parthiv played his first International Test in the year 2002, when he became the youngest wicketkeeper to play Test for India.
