KL Rahul: Team India had to face a crushing defeat in the Bangalore Test against New Zealand. After which now the team management is thinking of making changes in the Pune Test. In which some big names may be left out of this test match. He can be removed from the team and a lethal spin bowler can be given a chance. Team India can no longer take the risk of losing in the Pune Test match, hence they can give chances to other players by dropping the flop players in the team.

Ashwin and Rahul may be out

Among the players who can be dropped from the team from the Pune Test, middle-order batsman KL Rahul and veteran off-spin bowler Ravichandran Ashwin can also be dropped from the team. Both of them have not been performing well for some time now, due to which they can be dropped from the team and other players can be given a chance.

Shubman Gill may return to the team in place of KL Rahul in the Pune Test match. Gill was out of the team due to injury. The team management had given him rest so that he could be fit for the next test. Sarfaraz Khan was given a chance in place of Gill and by scoring a century in this match, he has confirmed his place in the team for the next match. Whereas Rahul was able to score only 12 runs in both the innings of this match.

Sundar got a chance in the team

Rahul's form remains a matter of concern for the team management as Team India has to play the Border Gavaskar Trophy later this year and Rahul has a good record on foreign soil. In place of Ashwin, the team management has also included Washington Sundar in the team. Sundar is currently playing Ranji Trophy matches in which he has performed well.

Sundar had scored a century in the first innings with batting while he has also performed well with bowling. He has taken 3-3 wickets in both the innings. However, this match was not over till the time of writing this news.
