Team India: Border Gavaskar Trophy is going to start from 22nd November between Team India and Australia (IND VS AUS). The selection committee has not yet selected the squad of Team India for the Border Gavaskar Trophy starting from 22nd November.

Reports are coming that Chief Selector Ajit Agarkar can include 18 players in Team India's squad for the Australia tour. Among these 18 players, 5 Mumbai Indians, 5 Royal Challengers Bangalore and 3 Chennai Super Kings players may get a chance.

Not 15 but 18 member team squad will be selected for Border Gavaskar Trophy

The selection committee can select 18-member team squad instead of 15-member team squad to be selected for Border Gavaskar Trophy 2024. Reports are coming that the selection committee wants to provide the team with the option of a back-up option during the 5 test match long Australia tour of Team India. Due to which Ajit Agarkar will select the 18-member team squad for the Australia tour.

Chance for 5-5 players of MI-RCB

The selection committee can include 5 players from Mumbai Indians and 5 players from Royal Challengers Bangalore in the team squad selected for Border Gavaskar Trophy. Rohit Sharma, Jasprit Bumrah, Anshul Kamboj, Hardik Pandya and Suryakumar Yadav can be included in the team squad of Mumbai Indians. Whereas, Virat Kohli, Akash Deep, Mohammad Siraj, Rajat Patidar and Anuj Rawat may get a chance from the team squad of Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB).

3 players can be dropped from CSK team squad

The selection committee can give a chance to 3 players playing from Chennai Super Kings (CSK) team in the team squad selected for Border Gavaskar Trophy. As these 3 players, Ruturaj Gaikwad, Ravindra Jadeja and Tushar Deshpande may get a chance.
