Fakhar Zaman: Hardly any Indian cricket fan has forgotten Fakhar Zaman, he was the one who stopped Team India from winning the 2017 Champions Trophy. But these days he remains in the headlines less because of his cricket but more because of his statements. Due to which his form has also been affected and he seems to be struggling to score runs. But there was a time when opposition teams were afraid of Fakhar's batting. In this article, we will know about one such innings in which Fakhar created a storm in the field with his batting.

Fakhar Zaman made a record against Zimbabwe

This match was played between Pakistan and Zimbabwe in Bulawayo in the year 2018. In which Pakistan won the toss and decided to bat first. Imam and Fakhar gave a good start in the opening and both had scored 50 runs even before the 10th over. Both of them did not stop here and soon both of them completed the Miller century partnership.

Imam and Fakhar were taking full advantage of Zimbabwe's weak bowling. Both of them were attacking the Zimbabwean bowlers without coming under any pressure and in the 32nd over, both of them even completed a partnership of 200 runs. Both of them then changed their gears and started attacking the Zimbabwe bowlers. Soon both the batsmen completed their centuries.

Fakhar Zaman became the first Pakistani to score a double century

Imam was out after scoring a century. Both scored 306 runs in 42 overs for the first wicket. However, Fakhar did not stop here but he scored his first double century. Asif Ali also came quickly in the end and hit a fifty. Asif scored 50 runs in 22 balls and thanks to Fakhar's double century and Imam's century, Pakistan scored 399 runs after losing 1 wicket.

The Zimbabwean team, which came to chase 400 runs, could not face the Pakistani bowlers and the batsmen kept losing their wickets while trying to play big shots. Shadab Khan took maximum 4 wickets for Pakistan. Zimbabwe team was limited to 155 runs under the pressure of 400 runs. This match is remembered only for Fakhar Zaman's double century.
