India captain Rohit Sharma joined former captain MS Dhoni in an unwanted list after India lost the first Test against New Zealand by eight wickets at the M.Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bengaluru on Sunday, October 20. Notably, after opting to bat first, India were bundled out for 46, their lowest score on home soil.
From there on, there was no coming back for the Rohit Sharma-led side who scored a massive 462 in the second innings but failed to post a daunting target for New Zealand.
