India cannot play in Champions Trophy 2025

The Indian team cannot play in the Champions Trophy 2025 to be hosted by Pakistan. Because, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) does not want Team India to tour Pakistan to play the Champions Trophy.

Pakistan's hopes dashed!

Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) wants Team India to come to Pakistan to play Champions Trophy at any cost. Due to which Pakistan Board had put a proposal before BCCI. Which BCCI has refused.

Because, according to media reports, a news has come out that PCB has proposed to BCCI that the Indian team will return to India after playing its matches in the Champions Trophy. But BCCI has rejected this proposal of PCB.

This team can go to play trophy

If the Indian team does not participate in the Champions Trophy 2025. So Sri Lankan team will qualify instead of Team India. Because, the top 8 teams of the points table of World Cup 2023 will play the Champions Trophy. Therefore, if the Indian team withdraws then the 9th ranked Sri Lankan team can play the Champions Trophy. If India does not participate in the Champions Trophy 2025, then Australia, South Africa, Bangladesh, England, Afghanistan, New Zealand, Pakistan and Sri Lanka can play.
