However, Virat Kohli’s dismissal on the last ball of Day 3 has put the hosts on the back foot in the first Test against New Zealand. Skipper Rohit Sharma was shocked by the set batter’s departure, and his reaction has gone viral on social media.

Virat scored 70 runs before Glenn Phillips took his wicket, with India finishing the day at 231/3. Kohli and Sarfaraz Khan (70*) added 136 runs for the third wicket in the second innings.

Following Kohli’s departure, the cameras showed Rohit in a sad mode. He was stunned and took his head back in disappointment as Kohli walked back to the dressing room.
