Team India: The second match of the Test series between Team India and New Zealand (IND VS NZ) will be played between October 24 and October 28 on the ground of Pune. Before the second Test match to be held at Pune ground, news is coming that Team India captain Rohit Sharma will not participate in the second Test match.

Due to which reports are coming that BCCI Secretary Jay Shah can soon make a big announcement regarding the new captain and vice-captain of Team India.

Jay Shah will hand over the responsibility to these two legends in the Pune test match.

If Team India captain Rohit Sharma decides to stay out of the second Test match to be held in the New Zealand Test series, then in such a situation, he will captain Team India in the Test match to be held at Pune ground. Jasprit Bumrah can fulfill the responsibility. Whereas Jay Shah can announce the name of Rishabh Pant as the new vice-captain of Team India.

If Rishabh Pant is out, this player may get the responsibility of vice-captaincy.

Team India's star wicketkeeper batsman Rishabh Pant got injured while keeping wickets on the second day of the Bengaluru Test match. Due to which Dhruv Jurel is performing the responsibility as wicketkeeper on the third day of the ongoing Test match at Bengaluru ground. In such a situation, if Rishabh Pant is out of the Pune Test match due to his injury, then the selection committee can give the responsibility of vice-captaincy of Team India in the Pune Test match to Shubman Gill.

Rishabh Pant's injury may prove costly for Team India.

Rishabh Pant suffered a knee injury during the second day's play on the Bengaluru ground. Due to which his knee has become swollen. In such a situation, if Rishabh Pant's injury turns out to be serious then it can be a big blow for Team India.

This is because Team India has to participate in the Border Gavaskar Trophy in the coming days. In such a situation, if Rishabh Pant is not fit by that time, then it can prove to be a big blow for Team India.
