Captain Rohit Sharma announced the playing eleven of Team India for the first test against New Zealand. India took two big decisions regarding the playing eleven, one of which was related to the exclusion of Shubman Gill. Indian captain Rohit Sharma said that there have been two changes in the team playing the Test against Bangladesh. He told that Sarfaraz Khan has got the place in place of Gill.
The reason for Shubman Gill's exclusion from Team India's playing eleven is not related to his performance but due to injury problem. Gill is complaining of neck pain. This is the reason why Sarfaraz has been appointed in his place. Sarfaraz Khan has recently scored a double century in the Irani Cup. Now similar performance will be expected from Sarfaraz in the Bengaluru Test also.
By the way, Team India did not decide to play only Sarfaraz Khan instead of Shubman Gill in the first test against New Zealand. Rather, Indian captain Rohit Sharma gave another news related to the playing eleven. He also announced his decision to drop Akashdeep and replace him with Kuldeep Yadav. The reason for Akashdeep's absence was not injury but the condition of Bengaluru.
