The first day of the Bengaluru Test between India and New Zealand was washed out in rain. There is no forecast of rain on the second day i.e. Thursday 17th October. The weather may remain clear till 10 am. There is a possibility of 30 to 40 percent rain intermittently after 10 o'clock. That means fans can expect the game to start on the next day. However, interruptions may occur from time to time. BCCI has told that everything will start 15 minutes before the scheduled time on the next day in the morning. That means the toss will take place at 8.45 instead of 9.00 and then the match will start at 9.15 instead of 9.30. This decision has been taken to compensate after the first day was completely wasted.
